Begin Again

Updated June 7, 2025: Uh, yeah, so I removed the Recipes section a long time ago. It never felt right. I am interested in adding it back—someday—but probably not as part of this site.

It’s been over a year, but I’m back on my bullshit. I’ve decided to make kylehalleman.com a thing, instead of My Many Colored Ways. In my head I thought it made sense to have a “tech writing” site with a different name, and have personal writings elsewhere. That didn’t work out well, maintaining two places. Here I am—one site—where you’ll get it all.

I plan to write about web development (of course), but also whatever comes to mind. I’ve added a Recipes section, where I’ll be adding recipes I have come up with, adapted, or use often. Mostly as a personal record, but maybe you’d like to try them too.

I was inspried recently reading Jeremy Keith’s site, who linked to this article by Matthias Ott, to just put stuff out there. No matter how long or short the post. No matter if it’s “on topic.” No matter if anyone will read. Because in the end this is for me, not for you (but if you like it, that’s great!).
